I can't see the 9 riders yet. Thats my shortlist. We need 2 powerhorse riders who can ride the whole day chasing and  bringing AC to the last climb and then will be on the rest to get AC where he needs to be before he takes on.

A Contador
P Tiralongo
D De la Fuente
D Fofonov
B Noval
D Navarro
J Hernandez
A Vinokourov
A Zeits
E Gasparotto
M Iglinsky
V Dmitriyev

Hi Bhooks

Thanks for the reply

I see from your list that Gasparotto is not uncluded.  Therefore I would replace him with Benjamin Noval in my team.  Fortunately Astana has very good riders to choose from smile

Well I had most of them right smile

Shame about Fofonov and  Zeits.  Perhaps they will go to the Vuelta?

Today's stage.. 10. Looks good for someone like Vino or Dani to go in front. This will allow other teams to work and our guys can quietly sit back in the peleton.

Yes I agree.
Yesterday Vino broke away on the Col de Madeleine. He looked very strong, and then dropped back quickly.  Maybe he was testing himself for a stage like today?
