Astana Cycling Team - Official Presentation
Vienna on the 30st of January 2010
The Astana cycling team is preparing for its 4th season among the elite of world cycling.
Since 2007, the training in the national colors of Kazakhstan has won the biggest races on the international calendar, including the 3 Grand Tours: the Giro d'Italia, the Vuelta and the Tour de France thanks to Alberto Contador. The Spanish champion will be associated this year to Alexandre Vinokourov the great Kazakh cycling star and to Oscar Pereiro former winner of the Tour de France. The major objective of this new season is bringing a new yellow jersey in Paris next July.
At this occasion, Alberto Contador, double winner of the Tour de France and Alexandre Vinokourov will reveal the biggest objectives for the 2010 season with along the whole team and all the members of the Staff.

Where will take place the official presentation? In Vienna?
But on January 31st, Oscar Pereiro won’t be there becaus he’ll race in France at the GP La Marseillaise, won’t he?
According to our official invitation from the Astana press-office the presentation will be 30-31 of January.
Probably it means that not all riders will be available in that time
OK and it will take place in Vienna, Austria? If yes, why?
Kazakhstan holds the Chairmanship of OSCE in 2010, so it’s just one more action to present the country in Vienna, where OSCE’s headquarter is located
